Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Advocate Ngoako Ramatlhodi will be heading to Bosplaas in the Moretele Municipality, North West on Monday, 29 February, to meet its local residents as part of his citizen engagement programme.
The Minister’s programme is a strategic vehicle that enables government to interact with citizens in its quest to improve service provision in support of the priorities of government.
The community imbizo will provide the Minister, joined by the Provincial and local government a valuable opportunity to interact with the local community on issues of governance and service delivery; to update and engage the locals on service delivery programmes and determine their level of satisfaction when interfacing with government.
During his visit, Minister Ramatlhodi is also expected to interact with the frontline public servants at service delivery points about the status of service delivery and what should be done to enable them to do their work better, faster and smarter in line with the Batho Pele Principles.
Members of the community will also have the opportunity to receive services and engage with officials from service delivery departments that will be available on the day of the event.
