The Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga will on Friday 29 January 2016 host a media briefing to discuss developments within the Education sector following the Council of Education Ministers (CEM) Meeting.
CEM consists of the Minister, Deputy Minister and all 9 MEC’s as well as the Senior Management of the Department. The decisions taken at the meeting assist in determining the strategic direction and policy directives of the basic education sector.
