Department of Labour Investment Roadshow
The Minister of Labour, The Honourable Mildred Oliphant is embarking on an investment roadshow along with its two entities, the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) and the Compensation Fund, as well one of its key stakeholders, the Public Investment Corporation (PIC). The half day program will incorporate visits to several project sites of The Musa Group, one of their strategic partners contributing to the mission of empowerment, transformation and economic impact in key sectors of the South African economy.
The Musa Group, is a diversified holding company, with businesses in the FMCG, Agribusiness, Retail Financial Services, Housing and Financial Advisory and Private Equity sectors. The Group has recently become a partner strategically aligned with the vision and goals of the of the Department by delivering on mandates of job creation, SME development, and transformation while providing products and services to grow the economy.
The Unemployment Insurance Fund and the Compensation Fund hold a 30% combined stake zin Musa Group through the Public Investment Corporation.
The roadshow will see the various stakeholders visiting sites in the Tshwane area.
