MEC Nomafrench Mbombo raises awareness on Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders at Crossroads, 12 Sept

Tomorrow, 12 September 2016, the Western Cape MEC of Health, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo, will visit Crossroads CDC to raise awareness around Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs).

This follows the commemoration of international FASD Day this past Friday under the theme: “No amount of alcohol is safe during pregnancy.”

The awareness drive also forms part of the Western Cape Government’s continued commitment to reduce alcohol related harms within communities under Provincial Strategic Goal 3.
