The Minister of Police, Mr Fikile Mbalula will tomorrow visit the OR Tambo International Airport (ORTIA). The Minister will be meeting with the South African Police Service Management, Home Affairs, State Security and the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Departments at the airport to get an appreciation of the safety and security challenges at the airport.
The Minister reiterates the importance of the ORTIA to the South African economy and stresses the need to make it safe as one of our national key points.
The Minister will host a media briefing following his visit.
