The Minister and Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Ms. Maropene Ramokgopa and Ms. Pinky Kekana, will deliver the budget vote speech for the Department of Planning, Monitoring and evaluations in Parliament, Cape Town, 18 May 2023.
The DPME has a responsibility to institutionalise planning, monitor the delivery of key priorities and evaluate government programmes in line with the Medium-Term Strategic Framework (MTSF) 2019 – 2024 and the National Development Plan (NDP) Vision 2030.
The Budget vote speech will outline the Department’s plans for the current financial year and to reflect on government's performance in the implementation of the developmental goals in the NDP and the seven priority areas for the 6th administration as outlined in the MTSF 2019 – 2024.
