Minister Lindiwe Zulu hosts Estonian Government Delegation, 18 Apr

Minister Zulu to host Estonian Government Delegation and address entrepreneurs from both countries

Minister of Small Business Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, will host the Estonian government delegation on Tuesday, 18 April 2017. Minister Zulu will have a bilateral meeting with the Estonian Deputy Minister responsible for Entrepreneurship and Information Technology, Mr Väino Reinart, at 7:00 in the morning.

Following the bilateral meeting, Minister Zulu will deliver a keynote address at the Business Forum session that will start at 8:00. Key participants at the Business Forum are the South African and Estonian entrepreneurs led by the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) and the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry respectively. 

Both countries are keen to explore opportunities that will significantly benefit SMMEs and Cooperatives in their countries. The two countries are expected to share experiences and knowledge on key sectors that can take SMMEs to the highest level.

Estonia is globally known for its contribution in ICT solutions through a number of innovations such as Skype. The Department of Small Business Development is confident that there is scope for expansion of bilateral economic relations, particularly in the ICT sector.
