The Minister of Small Business Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, will host an Imbizo and walk about with locally based SMMEs and Cooperative members on Saturday, 11 April 2015. The Imbizo programme will take place under the government’s five year theme: “Together we move South Africa forward”.
About 150 SMMEs and cooperatives will participate in dialogue with the Minister. The focus of the Imbizo will be on SMME and cooperative empowerment. Minister Zulu will engage business around the plight, opportunities and challenges facing co-operatives and small businesses.
Minister Zulu believes that this Imbizo session will help the department to emerge with practical ideas on how to support small businesses and co-operatives more effectively.
