Minister Jeff Radebe hosts service delivery Imbizo, 29 Apr

Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Jeff Radebe, MP, will host an Imbizo in Khayelitsha, Cape Town.

Izimbizos provide government with the opportunity to share important information with South Africans from all walks of life and Minister Radebe will use the platform to engage the community about service delivery in Khayelitsha.

South Africa adopted the National Development Plan (NDP) Vision 2030 to create a better life for all its citizens in an inclusive society. The NDP`s aim is to accelerate economic growth and resolve the triple challenge of unemployment, poverty and inequality.

Through the Imbizo, ordinary citizens will get the opportunity to evaluate the performance of government and share with Minister Radebe their views on the pace, direction and quality of service delivery.

The Imbizo will be preceded by unannounced visits to selected service delivery points.
