Session Overview
Previous WEF on Africa conferences have provided a tremendous platform to bring together senior stakeholders for discussion on accelerating infrastructure development across the African continent. At the 2015 and 2016 WEF on Africa, BCG and DBSA, in partnership with DPME in the Presidency of South Africa, held several sessions on the selection, implementation and acceleration of infrastructure projects in the North-South Corridor (NSC). The 2017 WEF on Africa provides an opportunity to highlight recent successes of NSC projects, link to new initiatives, such as the NEPAD Agency’s SMART Corridors, and connect the dots around themes developed in previous years around infrastructure acceleration, industrialisation, and investment. The focus is to provide an action-orientated review of the activities on the North-South Corridor.
The session is open media. Kindly RSVP with Tshegofatso.Modubu@dpme.gov.za/ 083 276 0786
