Farmers in Cofimvaba and surrounding areas will get an opportunity to interact with the Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Mr Senzeni Zokwana (MP). The Minister will engage with farmers on service delivery issues and other matters affecting them in the sector as part of the government imbizo programme.
The National Imbizo Focus Week affords Cabinet Ministers and Deputy Ministers to engage in dialogues of empowerment with South Africans from all walks of life, in communities in rural areas, in townships, in peri-urban settlements and in informal settlements. The imbizo also provides comprehensive details on the expected outcome of implementing the nine-point plan.
The focus week will be guided by the theme “Together we move South Africa forward”, aimed at promoting partnership and transforming the country into a better place for all to live in.
