The Department of Higher Education and Training invites members of the media to attend and cover the forthcoming International Vocational Education and Training Conference which is set to take place in Cape Town.
The purpose of this Conference is to assist vocational educators across the globe to sharpen their knowledge on matters affecting the sector, providing networking opportunities, learning about new tools and to engage on the trends and best
practices in the advancement of vocational education and training internationally.
This conference which is organised by South African College Principals`Organisation (SACPO) and International Vocational Education and Training Association (IVETA) in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, aims to
achieve improvement of high-quality vocational education and training throughout the world, networking with business and industrial firms, and effective implementation of skills acquired in the Sector.
