Transport Minister, Honourable Dipuo Peters will announce the 2015/16 festive season road crash and fatality statistics during a media briefing to be held at the RTMC head office in Pretoria East.
The Minister, leading to the festive season period made a plea to all road users in the Republic to conduct themselves in a responsible manner and play a role in reducing the carnage on our roads. The Department of Transport has also implemented and strengthened various methods in trying to ensure that everyone is safe on our roads, these include vehicle roadworthiness, scholar transport safety, the implementation of the 365-day road safety campaign.
