Tomorrow, Tuesday 28 June 2016, Minister Debbie Schafer will visit the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) Safe Schools Holiday Programme at Voorpoed Primary School in Hanover Park.
Voorpoed Primary is one of many schools across the provinces that are taking part in the Holiday Programme hosted by Safe Schools and a number of outside stakeholders.
It is important that we keep our children, as far as possible, safe and occupied during the school holiday period. The WCED Safe Schools Holiday Programme provides learners with a safe space where they will be actively engaged in various informal/non-formal as well as formal education activities.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 28 June 2016, Minister Schafer will visit the programme at the school where she will take part in an obstacle course that focuses on team building.
