Members of the media are invited to a briefing by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies on the incoming State Visit by Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and outgoing France State Visit by President Jacob Zuma.

Minister Davies says one of the objectives of the visits is to promote economic cooperation with the two countries, including enhancing value-added manufactured exports from South Africa and promoting inward foreign direct investment.
Minister Davies indicated that the India State Visit offers the two counties to reinvigorate the South Africa India CEOs Forum which has been inactive since 2011.
“As such a South Africa - India CEOs Forum and South Africa India Business Forum have been organised on the margins of the incoming State Visits by Prime Minister Modi. For the outgoing State Visit to France by President Zuma a
South Africa -France Business Forum has also been arranged,” states Minister Davies.
