The Minister of Basic of Education, Mrs. Angie Motshekga invites you a media launch of the African Play Conference. The event is a partnership in which the Department of Basic Education, UNICEF South Africa, The Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) and the Lego Foundation join forces to host the first- ever conference to focus on play-based learning in the early childhood development phase.
The Minister will reveal further details of the conference and ways the Department is intensifying efforts to improve the quality of education from the foundation to the top.
