​​​​​​Minister Motshekga to brief media regarding the latest extra-ordinary interventions from Basic Education during the lockdown period

The Minister of Basic Education, Mrs. Angie Motshekga (MP) will address the media at a press briefing in Pretoria today, Thursday 26 March 2020, ahead of the national lockdown.

Learners have not been in school since the emergency shutdown of schools on 18 March 2020. The DBE has come up with extra-ordinary and creative ways to assist and support learners and parents to recover lost schooling time.
