In a concerted effort to increase the intake of medical students to train in South Africa, the Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi will today officially open the Tswelopele lecture theatre complex at the University of Pretoria.
The Tswelopele lecture theatre is expected to accommodate about 300 students.
The University of Pretoria will develop Tembisa and Mamelodi as academic regional hospitals to expand the service learning platform to provide for the training needs of the growing number of medical students.
