As part of Women’s Month celebrations, Gauteng MEC for Roads and Transport will on Tuesday, 23 August 2016, host a networking session for women in the Minibus Taxi Industry at the Pyramid Conference Centre, Johannesburg.
The purpose of the networking session is to engage with women on issues such as current and future business opportunities in the transport industry. Challenges and possible solutions faced by women in the industry will be discussed.
Officials from Pink Drive, Commission for Gender Equality; Gauteng Departments of Health and Economic Development as well as FutureLife will also be on site to assist the female taxi operators on health and empowerment issues..
