MEC Ishmael Kgetjepe wishes Grade 12 learners well for mid-year examinations

Catch-up programme: Vuwani Grade 12 learners write mid-year examinations

The MEC for Education, Mr Ishmael Kgetjepe, on behalf of the Limpopo Department of Education wish all the grade 12 learners in the Catch-Up Centres of Tivumbeni, Makhado and Mastec the best through their mid-year examinations period.

A total of 1957 Grade 12 learners who are at the three Catch-up centres have started with their mid-year examinations yesterday as part of catch-up programme following protests in areas of Vuwani, Vhembe district.

Writing on the first two days went smooth and it is anticipated that the whole duration will see them finish as scheduled. They started by writing Life Orientation and English FAL P3 yesterday and today they wrote Life Sciences, Accounting and Tshivenda HL P3.

They will seat for History P1 and English FAL P2 on Wednessday. These learners will write Physical Science P2 on the last day of the examinations which is the 27th July 2016.
