South Africa will celebrate Freedom Day on the 27 April 2014 at the Union Buildings, Pretoria under the theme: “Celebrating the Third Decade of our Freedom through Accelerating Radical Economic Transformation”. This year’s Freedom Day celebrations marks 21 years of Freedom and Democracy in South Africa and also marks the 60th Anniversary of the Freedom Charter, the historic road-map to our struggle for freedom and ultimately the achievement of democracy. As part of the Freedom Day programme, an interfaith prayer will be held at 6h00-7h00 in Freedom Park, Pretoria.
