South Africa will host the fifth South Africa Investment Conference (SAIC) on 13 April 2023 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
This year’s conference concludes the country’s investment drive announced in 2018 by President Cyril Ramaphosa, during which he set a target to mobilise R1,2 trillion worth of pledged investments into the economy by 2023.
Accordingly, four instalments of SAIC were successfully hosted with R1,14 trillion worth of investment raised over the period. This represents 95 per cent of the goal set by the President, bringing the five-year investment target firmly within sight.
SAIC has attracted broad and meaningful participation and allowed for engagement with business and investment community and broader stakeholders – delivering message that SA is still open for business and investment.
