MEC Pauline Williams addresses Freedom Day Lecture in Springbok, 25 Apr

The Northern Cape MEC for Transport, Safety and Liaison will be delivering a keynote address at a Freedom Day Lecture to be held in Springbok, tomorrow 25 April 2016.

MEC William’s address is one of the lectures that will be delivered across the Province and country to commemorate 27 April 1994, a historic time when the country achieved democracy, and all citizens become free from racial oppression and discrimination.

The MEC will also use this address as a vehicle to not only celebrate the country’s milestone in achieving democracy but also reflect on progress made since then.

The 2016 Freedom Month celebrations take place under the theme, “Together Building Better Communities – Local Government is Everybody’s Business”.
