Groote Schuur Hospital celebrates new installations in Radiation Oncology Department
Tomorrow, 16 August 2016, the Western Cape MEC of Health, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo, will celebrate the installation of a brand new Linac and CT simulator at Groote Schuur Hospital.
The Linac is the third machine that will be used at Groote Schuur Hospital to help treat the 1 500 new oncology patients that would need radiography.
The new Linac will significantly contribute to the reduction of waiting times for radiotherapy patients at the facility.
