MEC Mashatile to table departments budget vote 2016/17
Gauteng Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and Human Settlements MEC, Paul Mashatile will table the 2016/17 financial year Budget Votes on 24 May 2016 at the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.
In the Budget Vote speech, the MEC will reflect on the progress made in implementing the government’s ten pillar programme of Transformation, Modernisation and Reindustrialisation thus far. He will also demonstrate that the progress made so far has laid a solid foundation to meet commitments made at the beginning of the term of office of the administration.
The Budget Votes will be preceded by cluster media briefings led by cluster chairpersons.
The 2016/17 Budgets Votes are delivered at a time when the current administration marks two years in office.
