MEC Diale-Tlabela to conduct oversight visits at various road construction sites
As part of the Aga Le Rona Campaign, Gauteng MEC for Transport and Logistics, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, will on Monday, 12 December 2022, conduct oversight visits at K69, K54, D483 and P241 road construction projects.
The purpose of the visits is to assess construction progress at the identified sites as well as look deeper into issues hampering completion of the projects.
Some of the projects to be visited have been marred by disruptions and delays due to illegal encroachments on the road reserves, formal and informal businesses operating along the construction route, as well as community protests over service delivery issues amongst other factors.
