MEC Florence Radzilani at swearing-in ceremony

Newly sworn MEC Radzilani vows to involve stakeholders to combat crime and create reliable transport system

Newly sworn in Member of Executive Council (MEC) for Department of Transport and Community Safety, Ms Fulufhelo Florence Radzilani, said she is ready for the task ahead of intensifying the fight against crime, towards making Limpopo safer. This will be better achieved when government involves communities in understanding what it means to be law-abiding citizens, she said.

MEC Radzilani was sworn in today at Limpopo High Court by Judge President Ephraim Makgoba.

“Let us work together to build a department that the province can be proud of. Let us work together to diligently provide services that our people need and deserve in combating crime,” said MEC Radzilani.

Further said MEC Radzilani: “I join the Department during October Transport Month. The period presents an opportunity for us to nurture partnerships with our communities and businesses alike in providing a safer, more affordable, accessible, and reliable transport system. This is also an opportunity to remind all our people of the importance of road safety. Let us all obey the rules of the road, to always arrive alive”.

MEC Radzilani’s swearing in follows Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha’s reconfiguration of the Limpopo EXCO on 06 October 2022. The Premier said the reconfiguration comes out of a need to improve service provision to the people of Limpopo.
