The MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) Fikile Xasa will be undertaking roadshows to visit Nyandeni and Qamata Great Places on 07 and 08 June 2017, respectively.
The purpose of the visit, amongst other things is to discuss the provision of services, challenges facing Traditional leadership institutions, development local government, issues contained in the Policy Speech as well as the establishment of War Rooms to implement Operation Masiphathisane.
Amongst those who will attend the event are Troika members from Nyandeni and Intsika Yethu Local Municipalities, representatives from Sector Departments, Municipal Managers and Community Development Workers (CDWs). The details of the visit are as follows:
