Following the successful launch of the Library Week, MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation will visit the Underground Library in Mohlakeng on Thursday, 29 March 201.
The underground library was founded by a Non-Governmental Organisation called Mohlakeng Youth Movement after the previous one was set alight during the service delivery protest.
“This library is a great initiative by the NGO to give back to the community. The partnership will help improve access to information and promote the culture of reading and learning amongst Mohlakeng’s youth”, says MEC Mazibuko.
