MEC Albert Frits addresses UWC Community Engagement Substance Abuse graduation ceremony, 4 Apr

66 specialist substance abuse graduates to be addressed by MEC Fritz at UWC

Today, MEC Albert Fritz will address at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) Community Engagement Substance Abuse graduation ceremony.

The ceremony will see 66 community representatives working in the field of substance abuse, graduate from an intensive course and receive their certificates.

This course is part of our ongoing effort to fight substance abuse and reduce the harms it causes, and is in line with Provincial Strategic Goal 3, which calls on us to increase wellness, safety and tackle social ills.

There will an opportunity for interviews and photos.

Time: 9h30, with MEC scheduled to speak at 10:30
Venue: Venue 1 A & B, School of Public Health Building, UWC.
