Innovative Western Cape entrepreneurs to receive grant funding
The recipients of the latest round of the Design Innovation Seed Fund will be announced tomorrow (Thursday, 4 May 2017).
The fund provides successful entrepreneurs with grants to commercialise exceptional ideas.
Alan Winde, Minister of Economic Opportunities, will deliver the keynote address at the announcement.
Launched in 2015, the Design Innovation Seed Fund is funded by the Western Cape Department of Economic Development and the Tourism and Technology Innovation Agency. It is being implemented by the Cape Craft and Design Institute (CCDI).
It seeks to provide support to those pursuing high-risk early stage innovations, to increase their potential for commercialisation.
