Mpumalanga Education launches Mpumalanga Human Resource Development Council, 23 Aug

The Mpumalanga Department of Education will launch the Mpumalanga Human Resource Development Council (MHRDC) in alignment with the Human Resource Development Council of South Africa (HRDCSA) to substantially develop the skills which will support social and economic development of the province.

The Human Resource Development Council will serve a key role in advising the provincial government on matters related to the province’s human resource development needs. It draws its stakeholders from both the public and private sector and includes government, business, organised labour, the academic sector and civil society.

The establishment of the Council will create a platform where social partners deliberate on matters of mutual importance relating to socio-economic issues, including skills development, in order to address bottlenecks in the development of human resources in the province.

The launch of the Council has been scheduled as follows:
Date: 23 August 2016
Venue: Ingwenyama Lodge, White River
Time: 10h00

The media is invited.
