The Deputy Minister of Police Bongani Mkongi on the 13 May 2017, sent his condelences to the family of a sixth year Walter Sisulu University Medical School student (name withheld), who was fatally wounded on 12 May 2017 at the University Residence.
The Deputy Minister is outraged about the incident and the continued reported sexual and gender based violence incidents at our higher education institutions.
Preceding his visit to the home of the late student in Cofimvaba ku Banzi.
The Deputy Minister will meet Stakeholders of the the Walter Sisulu University and will afterwards brief the Media.
