The highlights of the speeches are as follows:
Social Development: Services to children including ECD, Reform the welfare sector, Provision and strengthen the services to families (involving people who are living and working on the streets), Substance abuse, Food security, Victim Empowerment Programme and Enhance capacity, capability and Partnership with all partners and stakeholders.
Health: To report on services and programmes on Primary Health Care, Infrastructure, Emergency Medical Services, Malaria, HIV/AIDS, TB, Voluntary Male Medical Circumcision (VMMC) Services, Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) program and other health programmes.
Provincial Treasury: focusing on building a capable developmental state which will ensure prudent utilisation of the scarce resources in order to ensure that there is value for money and ensure accountability by Provincial Departments, State owned companies, Municipalities with a view to prioritise economic growth, avoid the continued loss of jobs, poverty and country credit rating moving to junk status
