Health Ministry to provide update on COVID situation in South Africa
Minister of Health, Dr Joe Phaahla together with the Deputy Minister, Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo, will tomorrow (Tuesday, 10 January) convene a media briefing to provide an update on the COVID-19 situation in South Africa.
The ministry will use this opportunity to respond to a number of topical issues, including a new variant (XBB.1.5) which has dominated the media space and created public panic in the past few days.
