Hawks to investigate DA’s matter against the Guptas
The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) confirms that it has received two Democratic Alliance (DA) complaints from Cape Town and Gauteng against the Guptas and others.
As the Hawks are mandated by law to investigate anyone without fear, favour or prejudice.
We therefore appeal to the members of the public and the media alike to give us space to conduct our investigations without undue interference, and we also urge those who are allegedly involved in the matter to cooperate with our investigators so that the investigations can be expedited.
No further comments will be made on the matter.
