The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Mr Senzeni Zokwana invites all members of the media to join him on his visit to Groblersdal as part of the annual Youth Month celebrations.
Throughout the month of June the department will conduct activities around the country engaging stakeholders who are already involved in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector, sharing their experiences and encouraging other young people to participate as well. The activities seek to dispel the misconception that the sector is for older and rural people.
The youth of Groblersdal will share their success stories and how they accessed information and resources from different stakeholders within the sector. Engagements for the day will target young people, unemployed youth and youth at high school level.
