Global game-changer in wine to be launched

A Western Cape winery will next week launch a revolutionary low-kilojoules wine made with indigenous South African wood chips. Economic Opportunities MEC, Alan Winde, will join Audacia director, Trevor Strydom, for the launch of this innovative product which has worldwide patent rights.

Minister Winde said: “It is my firm belief that Audacia’s latest product will be a game-changer for the South African wine industry. Through the use of natural indigenous woods, Trevor has pioneered a healthier South African wine offering”.

The press briefing will also include an update on the move to create an indigenous South African wine class, in order to clearly separate ‘RSA indigenous wines’ from the rest.
