MEC Ismail Vadi opens rehabilitated P41/1 Road project in Nigel, 31 Jul

Gauteng to officially open the rehabilitated R16 million Nigel Road

Gauteng MEC for Roads and Transport, Ismail Vadi, will on Monday, 31 July 2017 officially open the rehabilitated P41/1 Road project in Nigel, Ekurhuleni.

The R16 million road project, which forms part of the provincial Coal Haulage Strategy, included the repairing and resurfacing of the portion of Road P41/1 between Heidelberg and Springs.

The rehabilitated road is envisioned to improve traffic capacity and pavement integrity of the road for a period of fifteen years.

The project was completed on time and within the allocated budget.
