The Gauteng Health MEC Dr Gwen Ramokgopa will on Friday, 01 December 2017 join the Gauteng Aids Council in commemorating the World Aids Day in Ellis Park sports arena, Johannesburg.
Under the theme “Girls growing up in Gauteng – we conquer”, the event will be used to strengthen awareness on the prevention and treatment of HIV and AIDS in the province.
On the day, the province will also take stock of the journey travelled and launch the Gauteng Strategic Plan on HIV, TB and STIs for 2017 to 2022. Young women will show case the She Conquers campaign.
