Gauteng supports Festive Community Games
With the December holidays festivities gaining momentum, Gauteng will be transformed into a huge playing-ground when the Festive Community Games season kicks off in earnest from this weekend.
To roll it out, Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Mbali Hlophe will, on Friday, 06 December 2019, launch the games at the local Tso’s Butchery in Kagiso, Mogale City.
MEC Hlophe will also hand over playing equipment including kits, balls, nets, trophies and more to the various tournament directors including Pollen Ndlanya, Joseph Makhanya and many others.
The action-packed programme will run until January across all the Gauteng regions. It includes soccer, netball, volleyball, basketball and more.
