The Limpopo Provincial Government will convene EXCO Budget Lekgotla to assess and deliberate on a number of issues relating to budgeting, infrastructure delivery, state of municipalities and performance of State-Owned Entities amongst others. Lekgotla will be held under theme “Responsive Fiscal Policy: Harmonising Resource allocation and Planning”.
The Acting Premier, Mr Jerry Ndou will deliver an opening address at the Budget Lekgotla. Members of the media are invited to cover the Acting Premier’s opening address, planned as follows:

The Budget Lekgotla is expected to be attended by all MECs, Acting Director-General of Limpopo, Heads of Departments, Heads of State-Owned Entities and Provincial Heads of National Departments in Limpopo.
The Lekgotla will focus on the followings:
- Overview on the implementation of the Limpopo Development Plan, including the Economic Summit Resolutions;
- Report on the province’s economic overview with specific focus on the Provincial Socio-Economic Framework;
- State of Municipalities Report including Back2Basics progress report;
- Report on Assessment of Expenditure Bilaterals and MTEC Hearings; MTEF Projections for the 2017/18 financial year; Provincial Fiscal Framework for 2017/18 financial year; and
- Provincial allocation allocations for 2016/17 to 2019/20.
