Cooperative Governance on education progress in Vuwani

Education gains momentum in Vuwani and surrounding areas

The members of Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) are today visiting schools interacting with parents, school governing bodies (SGBs), educators, leaners and other stakeholders.

The following are Ministers on the ground:

  1. Minister van Rooyen
  2. Minister Muthambi
  3. Minister Mahlobo
  4. Deputy Minister Dlodlo

Government is also pleased with the ongoing delivery of the mobile classrooms. Thus far twelve (12) have been delivered yesterday and today, 18 May 2016, we are expecting fourteen (14) to be delivered. The desks are also being delivered today and will continue as the mobile classrooms are being assembled.

Government commends the resumption of teaching and learning which has gained momentum and learners have returned to school. This positive response from the communities will go a long way to ensure that learners are not adversely affected.

The following schools will be visited:

  1. Ratshikwekwete Secondary School
  2. Nzwelule Primary School
  3. Tshiawelo Primary School
  4. Lwenzhe Secondary School
  5. Tshivhulana Primary School
  6. Mugoidwa Secondary School
  7. Radzambo Secondary School

In addition, the IMC is today having a community meeting with the Nesengani Traditional Council and community members at 11h00 at the Rivers of Living Water Cathedral.
