Top management meeting to improve education in the province
Continuous improvement of quality education is a priority in the province. The department will convene the Top Management Meeting to be led by MEC Ishmael Kgetjepe to look at key education issues.
Amongst others the meeting will focus on the review of some departmental policies, new organisational structure and the audit issues. The meeting will also look at the readiness of the NSC examinations for 2016 class. The smooth running of education in Vuwani is also going to be part of the discussions. The meeting will also look at matters school merging.
Meanwhile, the department is tirelessly working on making sure the temporary teachers who are not yet paid are paid urgently. The challenges on payment processes are being handled to get the system to be effective.
The top management meeting takes place on the 23rd August 2016.
