The Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature will host the annual Sitting of the House for the Premier of the Province, Mr Phumulo Masualle (MPL), to present the State of the Province Address (SOPA).
This Sitting provides a platform for the Premier to outline the provincial government’s programme of action in the year ahead, priorities for the ensuing financial year, challenges faced during the past year, achievements and developmental projects for 2017/18 financial year.
The Speaker of the Legislature, Ms Noxolo Kiviet (MPL), will preside over this Sitting scheduled to take place on Friday, 17 February 2017, 09h00 at the Legislature precincts in Bhisho.
For a live broadcast of proceedings members of the public are encouraged to visit Public Viewing Areas in various districts & Metros of the province; listen to their community radio stations and watch Dstv Parliamentary Channel 408.
