Discussions on growing sustainable forests continue in the Eastern Cape
The Fort Cox College of Agriculture and Forestry invites members of the media to the annual Southern African Regional Meeting (SARM). The college is an affiliated member of the International Forestry Student Association (IFSA) and will host students and experts in the field to discuss forestry matters.
This year’s symposium will be held under the theme: growing networks, growing sustainable forests.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, General Bheki Cele together with the Eastern Cape MEC of Agriculture, Mlibo Qoboshiyane will be part the engagement. Activities for the week long symposium will include visits to nature conservation and forest sites.
Transport to the meeting and site visits will be available on request.
