Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will tomorrow, Friday, 10 June 2016, chair the 16th Human Resource Development Council (HRDCSA) meeting that will discuss among others, the revised country Human Resource Development Strategy.
The meeting will be held at the Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator Centre in Johannesburg.
The day will commence with Deputy President Ramaphosa being conducted on a tour of the Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator Centre to showcase the Centre's contribution to youth development and employment.
The Centre finds, screens, trains and places first-time youth work-seekers who are marginalised from existing corporate recruitment networks.
The work by centre is directly in line with the last HRDC summit's call for partnerships amongst various players, in the pursuit of a skilled workforce in South Africa.
The HRDC is a national multi-tiered stakeholder advisory body established in 2010 under the leadership of the Deputy President and under the management of the Higher Education and Training Minister to build the human resource development base required to ensure a prosperous and inclusive South African Society and Economy.
