Creating sustainable opportunities for women in media
The Deputy Minister of Communications, Ms Stella Ndabeni Abrahams will, on Saturday, 20 August 2016, engage with women in media on building success in the industry.
This engagement seeks to bring together over 200 female journalists, producers, editors, videographers and photographers; amongst others, to engage on their role as media practitioners in creating an informed citizenry, on social cohesion and nation building. This will also include a panel discussion by leading female experts who will impart knowledge about building sustainable careers and businesses in the media sector.
In leading the discussions, the Deputy Minister will focus on global communication transformation, emergence of digital media as well as the importance of being a well-rounded media specialist.
