The Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform Mr Mcebisi Skwatsha will, on Thursday 04 May 2017, visit the Azelo (Pty) Ltd Farming Project in Wallmansthal - City of Tshwane.
Azelo (PTY) Ltd is 100% female black owned small scale beef enterprise which specializes in processed, clean and “ready to cook” indigenous meat (Ox head, Ox tongue, hard body, chickens etc).
Founded by Ms Ntuthu Motshegoa in 2013 AZELO business boasts over 80 oxen in a farm situated in Wallmansthal, City of Tshwane, Gauteng. Ms Motshegoa founded the farm with the primary objectives to address challenges regarding food security in South Africa, to promote economic participation and to enhance growth and visibility of women in the Agri-business value chain.
During the Deputy Minister’s visit the management of the project wants to showcase their farming successes to government.
