Deputy Minister Mduduzi Manana rolls-out Decade of the Artisan in Rustenburg, 9 to 10 May

Deputy Minister Manana to visit selected employers and high-school learners IN the North West province on the Decade of the Artisan Advocacy campaign

The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr Mduduzi Manana, MP, will roll-out the Decade of the Artisan in Rustenburg, North West province on the 9th and 10th  of May 2016. 

On the first day, the Deputy Minister will visit three companies in their workplaces in a bid to encourage them to work closely with TVET Colleges by opening up their workplaces in order for our artisan learners to acquire workplace training; and also donate equipment to colleges for the advancement of the vocational system.  

On the second day, the Deputy Minister will interact with over 1000 learners from nearby high-schools to motivate them to consider artisanship as a career of choice in the 21st Century as well as share information on critical scarce skills that will advance the economy of the country.
